Fredy was born in a small town in Lorica, Cordoba, Colombia. At a young age, his parents moved his family to Cartagena, Colombia in search of a better life. This allowed Fredy to eventually earn a degree in mechanical engineering and meet his future wife. To support his wife and 2 kids, Fredy had 2 jobs for many years, always worked hard, but wanted to find a way to have more freedom to spend time with his family. In 2008, looking for quality of Life and a better future for his children, he decided to emigrate to Canada with his family. He worked as a mechanical engineer for several years in Calgary, Alberta, and he thought everything in his life was perfect. Until in 2017, he was laid off due to the downturn in the Oil and Gas industry in Alberta. Fortunately, a couple of months before being laid off he learned about ICON Global and decided to get involved with the organization. Within weeks he was earning great additional income that helped his family dramatically during his lay-off from his job.

With no prior business experience or business skills, Fredy followed a simple system laid out for him by ICON Global and today he is at a senior position, earning a great income, and leading the expansion of ICON Global into its Latin America expansion starting with the country of Colombia.
